Who put the barn there?

(Lima, N.Y.) -- Amazingly, there were no injuries when a small plane went down around 11 a.m. Thursday in Lima.

The Livingston County Sheriff's Office said the ultra light plane clipped some trees soon after take off. The pilot just missed a barn before slamming into the ground near Routes 5 and 20 behind East End Motors.

The pilot, Joseph Orlando, 62, was not seriously hurt and witnesses said he was in good spirits after the crash.

Witness Ron Motz said, "When he just got out of the airplane. He said, 'Hi, how are you doing? Someone put a big barn in my way…'"

Investigators said Orlando had just purchased the plane.
